Sofia blue-chip stock index extends winning run backed by Sirma Group, Sopharma
SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 6 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange's blue-chip SOFIX index extended its winning streak to four trading sessions after closing 0.36% higher at 570.65 points on Monday.
The index was supported by software group Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] and drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR], which added 2.42% and 2.41%, respectively.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, closed unchanged at 131.20 points, after setting two consecutive all-time highs in the preceding trading sessions.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, advanced 0.28% to 112.47 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.19% to 519.82 points.
Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to some 973,0000 levs.
