Bulgaria's Sopharma grows 2019 sales 9%
SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 10 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Friday that its sales revenue rose by an annual 9% in 2019, due to higher sales on foreign markets.
Sopharma's sales abroad grew 15% last year, while domestic sales remained unchanged year-on-year, the company said in a bourse filing.
In December alone, the company's sales jumped by an annual 16%. Exports were 27% higher on the year, while domestic sales grew 5%.
The company did not disclose information about the volume of its sales or amount of sales revenue.
As at 12:20 CET on Friday, Sopharma shares traded 0.58% lower at 3.42 levs ($1.94/1.75 euro) on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
